Focus:

The special session will build on the strong scientific collaboration demonstrated at the Human Planet Forum, using it as a foundation to connect the GEO Human Planet (GHP) initiative with the JURSE community. The session purpose is to highlight and integrate the high‑quality research already being conducted within JURSE on themes central to the Human Planet: settlement mapping, population and urban characteristics, and related applications.
